Wow they were lovely, full bellies and smiley faces all round. I have 5 children and along with myself and partner we all tried everything and there wasn't anything that was not loved. In fact they ate so much that no one had room for pancakes so we are Wow having them tonight.
The youngest two Grace 2 and Samuel 5 definitely liked the sundried tomato escalopes the best, Grace to the point that she ate a whole one and wouldn't share even a bite!
Lilly aged 11 could not decide between the sausages and the cheese and red pepper escalopes so decided they are both her favourite.
Harry 14 said the sausages were his fav, whilst Jack 19, my partner Jason and myself loved the peri peri burgers the best they were so tasty!
We all sorts of side dishes then all decided which went best and the results were. The peri peri burgers with a ciabatta roll, onion and relish, served with continental leaf salad with pomegranate, and new potatoes with butter and chives. It was also thought these would go lovely with potato or turnip chips and salad, and I cant wait to try them on the bbq!
The sundried tomato escalopes were liked with roasted sweet pots, rocket, baby spinach and watercress salad, garlic bread, peppers and tomatoes.
The most popular to go with the cheese and red onion escalopes was mashed potatoes drizzled with truffle oil, creamed leeks and minted garden peas.
The Italian sausages went brilliantly with roasted Mediterranean veg a thick buttered slice of wholemeal walnut cob and salad, but also went brilliantly in a sausage sandwich.
We had such fun experimenting with and trying the samples and are very much looking forward to them being released, thank you again for choosing us for this.
