Fish Free King Prawn Recipe
Quick Fish Free King Prawn Sweet Salad
This simple salad is perfect for impromptu picnics and by including a good pure honey in your dressing, you can add a slightly sweet flavour or extra zest to any salad. The honey will also help your dressings cling to your veggies and not trickle to the bottom of your plate!
Fish Free King Prawns: Heat the oil in a pan and add the Fish Free King Prawns, cook for 5 minutes, remove from the heat and cool.
Salad: Tear the salad & little gems into bite size pieces and place in a serving bowl. Scatter the beans, potato, olives, spring onions, tomatoes and Fish Free King Prawns over the salad leaves. For the dressing, add all the ingredients to a separate bowl and whisk well. Pour over the salad and serve immediately.
For the salad:
450g Fish Free King Prawns
2 Tablespoons olive oil (for prawns)
110g Mixed salad leaves
2 Small gem lettuces
110g French beans, cooked el dente
8-10 New potatoes, cooked and cut into quarters
4 Baby plum tomatoes, halved
4 Hard boiled eggs, peeled and quartered
50g Pitted black olives
3 Spring onions, sliced
For the dressing:
1.5 Tablespoons pure honey
6 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
4 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Teaspoon sugar
Salt & pepper
For a little twist, why not add roast sweet potatoes in place of the new potatoes and a sprinkling of chopped chilli for a little nip!
