Fish Free King Prawn Recipe
Chimmichurri Fish Free King Prawn Skewers

This chimichurri sauce is great as a marinade, topping or dip for our new Fish Free King Prawns – or even to pour over your roasted vegetables! Chimmichurri is an Argentinean condiment and while recipes do vary, the basics are olive oil, parsley and oregano.
Place the parsley in a food processor and chop briefly. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until well combined. Remove and place in a bowl. In a separate bowl, add the prawns, and 3 tablespoons of the dressing, mix together, cover and cook in the microwave (800w) for 2.5 – 3 minutes. Allow to cool. Place 5 marinated Fish Free King Prawns on a skewer and grill or BBQ for 3-5 minutes each side.
Use the remaining chimmichurri dressing as a basting or table dip.
20 Fish Free King Prawns (defrosted)
1 Bunch of flatleaf parsley
8 Cloves of garlic, minced
125 ml Olive oil
40ml Red wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 Small red onion, diced
1 Teaspoon dried oregano
0.5 Teaspoon salt
Ground black pepper to taste.
If using bamboo skewers, be sure to soak them over night in water before using, this will prevent them catching alight. Add a little chilli to the dressing for a little kick to the flavour.
